In Between Hands

PAPERWORK EXHIBITION

Exhibition 19.01.18 – 19.02.18
Opening + New Years Drinks: 19.01.18

BetweenTwoHands and The Paper Factory are happy to invite you for the opening of the installation Paperwork, and a toast to the new year!

On display will be Paperwork, a paper installation by BetweenTwoHands, inspired by the work and life of Franz Kafka. This piece has been crafted for the Over het IJ Festival, which took place at the NDSM terrain in Amsterdam in 2017. For Paperwork the duo explored paper pop-up techniques and paper mechanics, entirely cut from the grey paper range of the Fedrigoni collection.

The installation will be on display from the 19th of January until the 19th of February 2018 in the Fedrigoni showroom The Paper Factory. The opening shall also be a get-together to toast on the New Year. The Paper Factory team has prepared a small edition of a New Years gift.

We look forward to seeing you.

Kind regards,
BetweenTwoHands & The Paper Factory team:
Hugo, Karoline, Byrthe and Brent

BetweenTwoHands is an art collective that specializes in object theater. The collective is composed of visual artists Erin Tjin A Ton (NL, 1985) and Gosia Kaczmarek (PL,1981), often in collaboration with other parties. Erin and Gosia both graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and founded their studio together in 2015 at ACTA, a community for artists in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
For BetweenTwoHands object theater is an exciting crossing where art becomes theater and vice versa. Their strength lies in the detailed implementation of objects and the different ways in which the objects are animated.
